This is a truly intimate theatre with a capacity for only 175 people; there are no blind spots, there is no difference in price for seats and everyone gets to see the action up close.

The theatre has hosted award winning plays by Auriol Smith and Geoffrey Beevers, produced works by Vaclav Havel and involved itself with local schools by staging Shakespeare productions for 6 to 18 year olds. Its conscientious programming and cosy size have made this one of the most respected theatres in London outside of the West End.
